La Maison du Marais
The headquarters and principal museum of the Parc Régional Naturel des Marais du Cotentin et du Bessin; a typical house of the region, long and low, the lower storey of stone and the upper of masse, a sort of adobe, sheltered by the overghang of a thatched roof. hatch is rare in the Cotentin since 1944, when the locals discovered that the US army was paying compensation if it got burned.
